What you are buying

The Honest Distance is a digital book, supplied as EPUB and PDF files with no copy protection. Buying it gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to read it on the devices you own and to keep a backup copy.

You may not resell it, upload it to a file-sharing service, or distribute it to people who have not bought it. Lending your own copy to one person the way you would lend a paperback is fine.

The book is fiction

The Honest Distance is a novel. It draws on published research about how people behave in close relationships, but it is a story, not therapy and not medical or psychological advice. If you are struggling with a relationship or your mental health, please talk to a qualified professional.

Delivery

Your download link is emailed to the address you enter at checkout, usually within a few minutes. If it has not arrived, check your spam folder, then email hello@betterfiction.co and we will send it again.

Refunds

See our refund policy. Thirty days, no reason needed.

Prices and changes

Prices are shown at checkout and may change. The price you paid is the price you paid; a later change does not affect a completed order. We may update these terms, and the version on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to it.
